Toronto Land Transfer Tax

Toronto buyers pay both the Ontario provincial LTT and the City of Toronto's Municipal Land Transfer Tax (MLTT). MLTT mirrors the province's brackets up to $2,000,000, then applies Toronto's own graduated luxury-tier rates above that, up to 8.6% over $20,000,000.
