Damian Strak also builds privacy-focused technology outside of real estate, under the Titan Underground umbrella — and this site is held to the same standard: collect as little as possible, and never more than what a visitor chooses to give us.

In practice, that means this site does not run advertising trackers, does not use cookies to follow you across the web, and does not build a profile of who’s visiting. The only personal information we have about you is what you decide to type into a form and send us. If you never fill one out, we don’t have anything to identify you by.

This policy applies to titanrealty.ca, operated by Damian Strak, REALTOR® with RE/MAX Right Move Brokerage. Real estate services are provided through Titan Realty Inc., a Personal Real Estate Corporation. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “Titan Realty” refer to Damian Strak and Titan Realty Inc.

We are subject to Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and its ten fair information principles — accountability, identifying purposes, consent, limiting collection, limiting use and retention, accuracy, safeguards, openness, individual access, and the ability to challenge our compliance.

Only what you give us, directly. When you use the contact form on this site, we receive the information you typed in — typically your name, email address, phone number (if given), and your message. If you request a home valuation or consultation, that may include basic property details you choose to share. Nothing is collected before you submit that form.

No analytics, no ad trackers, no tracking cookies. This site doesn’t run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar tool, and it doesn’t drop cookies to follow your browsing. The light/dark theme toggle is remembered using your browser’s local storage — a small setting that stays on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else.

Standard, unavoidable web-server logging. Like effectively every website on the internet, the server that delivers these pages automatically records basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested) for security and operational purposes — this is infrastructure-level logging, not something we use to track or profile individual visitors, and it exists whether or not you ever contact us.

Information submitted through this site is used to respond to your inquiry, schedule a showing or consultation, and, where applicable, to provide real estate services in connection with a buying or selling transaction. If you become a client, your information may be added to our contact and client-management system so we can follow up and keep you informed.

If you submit an inquiry, we may follow up by email for a reasonable period afterward under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) implied-consent rules for an existing inquiry or business relationship. Every email includes a way to opt out, and we stop within 10 business days of any such request.

Real estate brokerages and salespersons in Canada are also “reporting entities” under federal anti-money- laundering law, so we may be required to verify identity and retain certain transaction records as directed by FINTRAC once you’re an actual client in a transaction — this doesn’t apply just from browsing the site or sending a general inquiry.

We don’t sell or rent your personal information, full stop. It may be shared with RE/MAX Right Move Brokerage as required for brokerage recordkeeping and supervision, with service providers who help operate this site or manage client communications (for example, email or contact-management tools), and with other parties involved in a specific transaction (such as a lawyer, lender, or another brokerage) where necessary to complete it, or where you’ve consented.

This site links out to Damian’s property search tool and to other third-party sites (for example, MLS®/property search platforms). Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy doesn’t cover them.

We take reasonable technical and administrative steps to protect personal information against loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep information collected through this site reasonably protected, and we don’t keep more of it, or for longer, than we need to.

You can ask to see what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it’s inaccurate, or ask us to stop using it for marketing communications. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can also raise a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
